John Edwards, the son of a mill worker and a teacher, a former Senator from the then red but turning blue State of North Carolina, a white Christian with blue collar roots, acknowledge that he voted for Barack Obama in this past Tuesday's election in North Carolina.
Edwards has also basically endorsed Barack Obama as Obama, for the first time, leads among superdelegates. That lead will widen as Obama has won 32 of 48 contests thus far, in states as "white" as Wyoming, Vermont, Idaho, Nebraska, Kansas, and Utah. Obama has also won big states (Illinois, Georgia, North Carolina, Missouri, Virginia), swing states (Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, Colorado, Virginia) and every kind of state imaginable.
John McCain trails both Hillary Clinton by double digits in this latest CBS poll.

Once again this shows that both Obama and Clinton are the electable ones and John McCain, the fatally flawed candidate who has sold his heart and soul to Bush, Hagee, Hannity, Parsley, Quinn, and other extremists on the far right, has absolutely no chance in November considering how 8 homes 100 million dollar elitist McCain supports the same policies that Bush does on Iraq, mortgage foreclosures, gas prices, the economy, tax policy, and other issues in which McCain is completely outside the mainstream of American politics.

Clinton: Voting for McCain 'foolish'
Clinton, speaking to reporters in Conshohocken just now, said she'd campaign for a united Democratic Party, no matter who's the nominee.
"Anybody who supports Barack or me would be very foolish to think voting for Senator McCain makes any sense," she said.
"Whatever differences Senator Obama and I may have...that pales in comprison with the differences we have with Senator McCain," she said earlier.
You know, he [Bush] wants to divide us over race. I'm from the South. I understand this. This quota deal they're gonna pull in the next election is the same old scam they've been pulling on us for decade after decade after decade. When their economic policies fail, when the country's coming apart rather than coming together, what do they do? They find the most economically insecure white men and scare the living daylights out of them. They know if they can keep us looking at each other across a racial divide, if I can look at Bobby Rush and think, Bobby wants my job, my promotion, then neither of us can look at George Bush and say, 'What happened to everybody's job? What happened to everybody's income? What ... have ... you ... done ... to ... our ... country?'"
Sometimes a compliment is in order and today is one of those days.
I am going to post this tomorrow at Daily Kos and I am hoping that there can be a gap bridged. I am not saying to anybody that if Obama wins the nomination that you MUST vote for Obama. I am saying that ANY person who would affirmatively vote for John McCain, Hillary supporter or Barack supporter, is a f*king a*hole. I am calling on all Obama supporters to pledge NOT to vote for John McCain if Hillary ends up being the nominee. Simultaneously I am calling on all Hillary supporters to reciprocate. Will you join in this "bicandidate" endeavor?
While 80% of the views of Senator Clinton are admirable and she does have a true passion for certain issues, and while most of Clinton's views are similar to Obama, the problem is that Hillary Clinton has revealed herself to be a disreputable person notwithstanding other positive traits that she possesses.
Great news. According to this poll
